Itinerary
- 09:00Hotel pickup & drive south
Meet your guide and set off along the Albanian Riviera toward Ksamil, the jewel of the south coast, with the Ionian Sea opening up beside the road.
- 10:00Arrive in Ksamil
Settle onto one of Ksamil's white-pebble beaches, where the water is shallow, calm and an unreal shade of turquoise.
- 10:30Beach time & the islands
Swim, sunbathe and relax. The little Ksamil islands sit just offshore, you can wade or take a short boat across to swim from your own patch of sand.
- 13:00Fresh seafood lunch
Lunch at a seaside restaurant: grilled fish, mussels from nearby Butrint lagoon, and local wine with a sea view.
- 14:30Optional: Butrint or the Blue Eye
Add the UNESCO-listed ancient city of Butrint (Greek, Roman and Venetian ruins on a green peninsula), or a stop at a nearby spring, entirely your choice.
- 16:30Optional: Lekuresi Castle sunset
On the way back, climb to Lekuresi Castle above Sarandë for a panoramic sunset over Ksamil, Corfu and the bay.
- 18:00Return & drop-off
Relaxed and sun-kissed, we drive back to your accommodation.
